The tower of Cancelli dates back to 1085 and originally built for defence purposes. Through centuries of evolution, today the tower is partially incorporated in a farmhouse and designate to residential use with gross area of approximately 711sqm and a further 94sqm guest house. Due to its unique architectonic composition the proposal is based on improving space planning and unifying the ground floor to upper levels. The concept is based on simplicity; combining modern comforts together with traditional Tuscan elements. External works consist in restoring the terraces the introduction of a swimming pool together with landscape features.
