The project proposes a contemporary terraced housing system applying an integrated  kit-of-parts building system approach. Designed around DfMA principles, components are manufactured off-site and rapidly assembled on-site, improving construction quality, reducing waste and shortening programme times. Standardised connections enable flexibility in dwelling size, layout and façade treatment while maintaining an efficient construction system.

The compact terraced form, high-performance envelope and low-carbon construction strategy support reduced operational and embodied carbon. Adaptable layouts and replaceable components also allow homes to evolve over time.

The result is a scalable, efficient and adaptable housing model that combines the benefits of industrialised construction with architectural variety and the established urban qualities of terraced housing.
