The tower of Cancelli dates back to 1085 and originally built for defence purposes. Through centuries of evolution, today the tower is partially incorporated in a farmhouse and designate to residential use with gross area of approximately 711 m² and a further 94 m² guest house. Due to its unique architectonic composition the proposal is based on improving space planning and unifying the ground floor to upper levels. The concept is based on simplicity; combining modern comforts together with traditional Tuscan elements. External works consist in restoring the terraces the introduction of a swimming pool together with landscape features.
