The authenticity of the Four Corners ‘timeless’ experience is grounded to the senses. The physical space acts as a medium of communication where every experience is multi-sensory. This collage focuses on the tactile qualities of surfaces, textures, form, colour and light which interact with the diversity of cultures, rituals of dining, gestures and artefacts all fusing into each other. The Four Corners philosophy is based on the idea that in designing for a timeless experience, there is not set solution, no single style or signature-but a clear understanding of the process. The Stavanger prototype is to acts as a vehicle of this experience introducing customers to the worlds culinary languages.
