La Torraccia Lecchi in Chianti

The structure dating back to the 11th century was originally built as a deference tower. Today the fortification remains abandoned and in ruins. The objective of the project is to consolidate and transform the structure to a private residence of 100 m² together with a 30 m² extension to accomodate the technical and storage rooms. The architectonic composition consists in inserting a modern element inside the walls of the tower proving a contrast between new and old.
